The after care was awesome as I had the pleasure of staying at one of Kirby’s homes. It was great as I was able to build friendships with others and meet people of character. I have attended some of the Alumni events there. Even though I did not come through this program, I felt welcomed and supported in my recovery, I have made friends and built a sober network because of the open Alumni events. I'm grateful for The Freedom Center not only supporting their own people but the community as a whole. Great place.
I appreciate everything from my experience here. The first day I got here almost a month ago and I was a complete mess. Crying to Seth in the office, and he told me “This can be the first day of the rest of your life.” I’m certainly hoping that to be the case. Thanks also to my counselor Cathy as she always made me feel comfortable to talk and share my feelings with her. I have a great plan in place for leaving here thank I’m feeling really good about. Thanks again to all the staff and the owner Corey for getting me in here when he did!
The freedom center is a wonderful establishment. The staff are caring and knowledgeable and really take care of you. I am so glad I chose this place after inpatient rehab. I attended IOP here and stayed in the sober living house they have. What a great experience. I celebrate 1 year sober in just a couple weeks and the Freedom center played a big part in that. HIGHLY recommend!
From the first day, the staff is loving and amazing. They accommodate with whatever so, we don't leave. And they'll hold your hand and sooth your back if you need them to. They even go as far as a three hour drive; in the rain to get your clothes if needed. That was my experience. Don't know what I'm missing out on, but I'm sure it's something good and amazing. Miss you Freedom Center. Buckeyestown is on the map! Keep on loving...
This place is amazing and will go above and beyond for their patients. Almost every staff member is in recovery themselves and if they aren’t they are still so caring and genuine. The groups are amazing and the facilitators keep groups engaging. I’ve grown so much as a person during my treatment here, and always suggest for people I know to come here. When you come to The Freedom Center, if you didn’t already have a family, you have one now; and if you did your family just got a whole lot bigger. <3
